Miniatures

The Windham Art Gallery will be hosting its annual Miniature show, with an opening reception to be held on Friday, January 5 from 5-8 pm. This exhibit, which is a favorite with gallery visitors, will feature the work of artist members Stuart Copans, Jim Giddings, Judy Hawkins, Lesley Heathcote, Caryn King, Petria Mitchell, Barbara Mueller, Cary Nelson, and Lauren Watrous.

A variety of media and styles will be represented, from intricate paper cutouts by Stuart Copans to small sculptures by new gallery member Barbara Mueller. Cary Nelson will be exhibiting miniature landscapes of the Deerfield River Valley and Judy Hawkins' work will feature expansive cloudscapes in miniature format. Petria Mitchell, Jim Giddings, Lauren Watrous, Lesley Heathcote and Caryn King will be showing new miniature landscapes, figurative work, and portraits of animals.
